Ethical Requirements for Local Government Employees

This training covers the essential ethics principles for city staff, including the following: an overview of the Oregon Government Ethics Commission and its jurisdiction, the ethics laws, guidelines on accepting gifts, prohibited uses of office – to include misuse of city resources, and identifying conflicts of interest. This session aims to equip staff with the knowledge to navigate ethical challenges and uphold transparency in public service.
